Darrell BiddixDirector of Clinical And Quality
Darrell Biddix is a dually Licensed Healthcare Administrator in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living in South Carolina and North Carolina. He is also a Licensed Nurse and attended Western Carolina University and began his healthcare career as a Medical Laboratory Technician with Grace Hospital System.
Darrell has held key management positions in long-term care settings over the past 28 years; working with Maxwell Group Senior Living Communities as Vice President of Clinical Services and Regional Area Director with Genesis Healthcare.
Darrell currently serves as Director of Clinical Services and Compliance for Revela/Premier Senior Living team where clinical support and compliance are his focus of practice and including infection control, policy and procedure development, and writing certificate of need documents and licensure for new acquisitions.
Darrell is Past President of the American College for Healthcare Administrators and has served on many state advisory boards. Darrell Currently resides in Asheville, North Carolina and in his free time enjoys spending time with his children and grandson.
Jamie brings nearly 20 years of experience rooted in various aspects of the real estate industry: residential, development, land acquisitions and senior living. Her passion for seniors and real estate development has allowed her to fully invest her financial, operational, and strategic approach to investment opportunities within the senior living industry. Before joining Solera, Jamie was the CFO of MorningStar Senior Living in Denver, CFO/VP of Corporate Finance for MBK Senior Living, and helped manage $1.8B in assets across the country during her time at KBS Realty in Newport Beach. Jamie holds a degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance from Chapman University, and an MBA from Pepperdine University. Jamie and her husband have two boys. They love exploring the outdoors, skiing, and hiking together as a family.
Neelam is a healthcare entrepreneur at the helm of Total Life. Total Life is the first online teletherapy and community focused platform designed to serve seniors with affordable and high quality behavioral health services that leverages technology to personalize the experience.
Neelam is a vocal advocate for access to quality and affordable healthcare. She ran for federal office in 2019 with the Trudeau government lobbying for better senior care services in Canada!
Neelam is an impact driven businesswoman with degrees from top international schools: Columbia University, London Business School and the Richard Ivey School of Business. She started her career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley in Toronto working with Canada’s leading companies in healthcare, natural resources, and industrials. After joining Citibank, she helped grow American & Asian companies by advising on international expansion and acquisition strategies.
Nicole started her career in senior living as Thrive’s first Chief Sales Officer where she inspired a team of passionate sales and marketing leaders while driving strategy for Thrive Senior Living. Most recently, Nicole started combining her love for operations and driving business results, as Thrive’s Chief Operating Officer.
Previously, she served as Chief Sales Officer of a biotech company. Nicole also served as an instructor in sales and marketing at University of Central Florida for over 10 years. She also served as a Business Development Leader for UCF’s first Professional MBA Program. During her tenure at Walt Disney World, she focused on guest satisfaction measurement and cast excellence measurement, receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Nicole has a BA from University of Prince Edward Island, an undergraduate focus in business and hospitality management from Mount Saint Vincent University, and a Masters in Change Management from University of Central Florida. She also completed a High Potential Leadership Program from Harvard Business School Executive Education and has corporate board experience in addition to formal training through the University of Washington’s “Women Board Directors Development Program.” Nicole is a mom of two, avid runner, proud Canadian, and currently serves on the Women in Leadership Committee of Argentum and also is chair of the Women in Leadership Education sub-committee.
I am the president of Lantern Lifestyle. I have bachelors degree in occupational therapy and Doctor of medicine degree. I graduated as MD In 2016. I am in my fourth year of residency in Psychiatry at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University . I am a mom of 2 teenage boys and a teenage girl. I live in Chagrin Falls , Ohio. I am passionate about Alzheimer’s and we have a cutting edge treatment methodology for Alzheimer’s in our facilities. My husband Jean Makesh CEO/ Owner operates and runs our three assisted living facilities in Ohio. My brother in-law Jean Nesian CIO is responsible for developing the EMR and all technology in our facilities.
