WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ—The Age Friendly Institute has honored Springpoint with a certification as an age-friendly employer. Springpoint is the Mid-Atlantic’s leading nonprofit senior living organization, with nearly 2,000 employees serving 4,000 seniors throughout New Jersey and Delaware. The Certified Age Friendly Employer (CAFE) certification process included a series of employee interviews and procedures evaluations conducted by the Age Friendly Institute’s research and certification staff.
Springpoint was evaluated in several categories, including general commitment and workforce policies, employee retention, compensation programs, management style and practices, training and development and candidate recruiting. Springpoint joins more than 100 of the largest United States employers to have earned this certification.
“The CAFE certification reflects Springpoint’s commitment to combat ageism and ensure our management policies, recruitment efforts and training standards are age-friendly and non-exclusionary,” said Anthony A. Argondizza, president and CEO of Springpoint. “We will continue to foster a culture that respects the unique qualities, life experiences and wisdom of each individual.”
